Our environmental plan
On track towards becoming a green B&B. We are committed to sustainable living by being environmentally conscious and minimising our carbon footprint.
As part of this, we're taking the following actions:
- Food produce is sourced locally with the added benefit of supporting local traders.
- Breakfasts are made to order to reduce food waste and cooking time.
- Towels are changed on request in an effort to save energy and resources.
- Toilet paper is sourced from Naked Sprout (nakedsprout.uk). Their products are made from bamboo as part of their mission to reduce the use of single use plastic, deforestation and chemicals entering our waterways. - We recycle as much as possible, including customer waste.
- We have introduced refillable toiletry dispensers to reduce single use plastic. The products used are environmentally friendly and are not tested on animals.

- Energy saving lighting and functions on our electrical goods are used.
