A note from Jim and Alison...    

With the weather finally showing more promise, we're able once again to sit out front on the patio and enjoy the sunshine. 

With summer on the horizon, Filey is getting busier. There is a nice buzz around the town. Lots of live music in the bars and great places to eat out. Filey in Bloom are once again doing us proud, the gardens as always look amazing. 

Events to look forward to this year.  Take a look at what's on in Scarborough outside theatre, there are some fabulous acts due to visit. Sir Tom Jones, Busted, Status Quo, and Madness  to name but a few. Bridlington and Scarborough Spa theatres also have a fine line up, if you're looking for a good evening out. For comedy amongst others, we're pleased to see John Bishop and Rhod Gilbert booked.  

Filey hosts regular food and music festivals, as well as live music in its bars. I mustn't forget the live music in the bandstand in Crescent Gardens in summer months. Get out the deck chairs and picnic hamper and enjoy the atmosphere.  Add to that weekend events such as the kite festival, literature festival, and steam punk, Filey really has it all. With Whitby, Bridlington and Scarborough only a short drive there is just so much to more to enjoy. You could even take a steam train into the lovely Yorkshire 'Heartbeat' countryside.
